I've been working with Linda Richardson to co-produce concerts since 2010 and she's always been a great partner. We've held a number of Father's Day concerts throughout Baltimore as well as several private events and Linda has always been strong in working on details related to organizing and promoting the shows. The end results have always been a professional first-rate event.
During my tenure as President & CEO of AIDS Interfaith Residential Services and its subsidiary Empire Homes of Maryland, we created and executed Oscar Night Baltimore (ONB) for eleven years under Linda Richardson’s direction.
ONB is an officially sanctioned party authorized and approved by the Motion Picture Academy of Arts and Sciences. One non- profit in 48 cities is selected to host the “official” Oscar night party. AIRS/EHM was the only nonprofit in Maryland with such authorization.
As one can imagine, this honor did not come without many requirements and approvals of the Academy for partnership participants. Each year AIRS attracted more than 450 patrons and sponsors. These events raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to support the mission of the agency. Much of the repeat success of the ONB event must be credited to Linda, whose creativity, organizational skills, and attention to detail contributed greatly.
Her service, dedication and professionalism was astounding! Each year, she enthusiastically raised the bar for the organization with her creative concepts, exciting new venues and overall resourcefulness.
I would recommend her for any event big or small without reservation. I look forward to the opportunity to work with her again in my new capacity.
